Rock Star Wanna Be
Bryan purchased Guitar Hero Rock Band for "the girls" this weekend. Bryan has become a drumming fool. The girls just think it is the greatest thing. We all took turns singing into the microphone last night. Wow, I hope the neighbors didn't hear us! I actually got a turn on the drums but still have not tried out the guitar. They will all be at school and work tomorrow so maybe I will get a turn at being a "Guitar Hero".
We took the girls to the batting cages on Saturday. Madison has decided she wants to play Fast Pitch Softball in the spring so we have started practicing a little early. She bought a PINK batting helmet and a pink bat. She already has a pink glove. It wasn't hard to spot her and Kate in the batting cages. The girls were the only girls there and definitely the only ones in PINK.
The girls had their first rehearsal last week for the Wizard of Oz. They learned the dance steps for the 3 scenes they will be in. Wow, it is a lot for them to remember. They will be in 2 out of 4 shows near the end of March.

I'm having a "sick" day. Not sure what I got, but it's kickin' my butt. I woke up the night before last with a horrid headache and a sore/shivering body. Today my headache is tolerable but now my back is killing me from lying around- boy I'm feeling old. Yesturday when Kate came home from school she wanted me to make her mac & cheese and just the thought of that made me gag. So I told her she would have to make herself a PB sandwich. So she did along with a drink and then came into the greatroom and turned on the TV. Then she looked over at me and said "if you need any thing ma ma you just let me know". I just wanted to cry she is so sweet.
Tonight Madison has a Girl Scout meeting so daddy will be taking her to that. He fits right in with all those women and girls, heck he lives with 3. Dinner will also be on him tonight as the thought of cooking food is just nauseating. Last night he fixed "Wendy's". The girls loved it though. They had their first meeting for The Wizard of Oz play last night which daddy had to take then to. The play is coming up in March at the high school and they will be in 3 scenes. Rehersal starts the end of January so we will be busy, busy.
